Open to Laurel elementary students in kindergarten- 6th Grade!
The READ-A-THON is an exciting chance for elementary school children across our community to give back to younger children by raising money to support Imagination Library, AND it encourages every child who participates to read! Participants earn money by reading books. Participants will have 2 weeks to read as much as possible. They will request pledges from family, friends, neighbors or businesses to support their efforts. Donors can either pledge a certain amount of money per minutes of reading time, or make a flat donation in support of Imagination Library!
Participating Schools and students have the chance to win prices for the MOST MINUTES READ and the MOST DOLLARS RAISED!
